Do you want to be a part of the cheer or dance teams here at Sandia?  We want you!  Spirit Team tryouts are happening NEXT WEEK   for all incoming 9-12th graders!  We are looking to restore our large successful program that we had before the pandemic. *Please check the Sandia website Spirit Team page for application, tryout information, and more information.  This is the last week to sign up!

Parking Passes will be handed out this week on WEDNESDAY during lunch at the OUTSIDE Activities Door across from the gym.

You must have a completed and signed application from our website to receive a pass.

Remember, Graduation Information is always being updated.  A new four page document was sent to ALL Seniors through the Google Counseling Classroom last week.  Please read it very carefully and mark the important dates and events on your calendar!

If you have not ordered your cap and gown this must be done immediately from Campus Specialties (505- 275-9357) in order to participate in our ceremony.

This week…Seniors pick up your Senior Sign and ALL Clear slip at the drive through event on Wednesday!

Please return all textbooks to the book room as soon as you are done with them.  If you have books from last year please bring those back as soon as you can.   If you have any questions on what you have checked out to you please check with Ms. Lein in the book room or email at"

Yearbooks are available for purchase online ONLY. No on-campus sales. Online orders will be available until the end of May. Please visit and search "Sandia High School" to buy your yearbook.

Yearbooks will be distributed to seniors on May 13th, at the Senior Car Parade Event. You MUST have your yearbook ordered ONLINE the day prior (May 12th) to be able to receive your's during the parade. If your name is not on the list for the event showing as paid, we will NOT be able to issue you your yearbook at that time. Seniors that do not attend the event will have to wait until the underclassmen distribution event the following week.

Please contact adviser, Natalie Thomas if you have any questions. Thank you!

From the Attendance Team.

It's May!!! You have less than a month of school left!  Continue to make every day matter.

Are you a winner from our last random drawing which was posted 4/26?

Check the SHS website under "Headlines" to see if your name is on the winning list.

Then come to the counseling office to check with Ms. Judah to get your "congratulations' prize!

Continue to get up, dress up, and show up to all your classes, every day.  We will have some bigger prizes for those students who will be randomly selected from the group of students who have had perfect attendance for this semester.
